An Arctic tale: Günter in the Arctic



This pencil drawing made and presented to me as a Christmas gift by Sebastian and Teresa describes my second expedition to Lake Hazen, in particular the thrilling situation when a wolve (see picture below) attacked me in my tent. Here are the dialogues:


Fish: "Günter is coming!"  "Let´s get out of here or he will turn us into ex-project coworkers!"  "Oh my god!"

Penguins: "Guess we are in the wrong picture!"  "I thought as much!"

Günter (in German/English slang): Get out of my tent, you stupid wolve! I don´t want you in here. Get lost immediately!"


That´s exactly my visitor: a beautiful Arctic wolf (Canis lupus arctos)
